Boko haram had gone from just a mere group to becoming a major problem for the Nigerian people, killing people in thousand with no recourse for human life. It is clear that there is more to this than meets the eye, but for how long will innocent people be murdered? Are we really going to sit back and watch while these savages continue to kill men, women and children and brag about it? I am not agitating for violence but common sense suggests that concrete action has to be taken to bring these brutes to justice; right from their so-called powerful sponsors to their brainless foot soldiers. James 2:17 “Faith without works is Dead”. Did you guys see the pictures of those children on Sunday? It was very horrible and these guys actually came out to brag that they are responsible for it while our so called leaders said nothing about bringing them to justice they only “expressed sadness”. It is clearly not a Christian Vs Muslin matter, we know that; but we also have clues as to the sponsors of these people and I am sure with proper intelligence and investigation we can fish them out. How did a senior member of the Boko-Haram get found in the governors lounge up north and how on earth did he escape in the midst of 25 armed police-men without any scuffle? Na jaz? No something is fishy, and unfortunately our government is weak (our president is a clown). These people might have powerful sponsors within and outside the country but they can be found out. First “follow the money”, guns and bombs are not cheap, who pays for them? Who looks after the families of the members that have been caught so far? Why? Is it for charity? Can’t we call in experts on terrorism to help fish these buffoons out? (last week or so we saw our fat senators in the USA for a terrorism conference). What about all those people that have been prophesying doom for the country and saying they will make it ungovernable? Have they been thoroughly investigated? Those who started this mess “Ali-Modu Sheriff” and “Yusuf Sani Yerima”. Have they been even questioned? Boko-Haram clearly has a link with them. They started by using them as political thugs for their selfish agendas. Why are they still free to plot and finance them? I am not a terrorism expert but common sense suggests that we start from here at least. If our security and police force had been properly trained, equipped and catered for, they would not be such incompetent brutes only specialized in collecting shandi. The entire police force needs proper retraining. They are only experts at harassing innocent civilians and serving as bodyguards to the rich. God has given us brains to think and hands to work. We should not think he will come down from heaven to build our country up for us if we continue this part of corruption,greed and wanton carelessness. God Bless 9ja.
